First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with these amazing talents and knowledge without Him, I wouldn’t be where I am today. My name is Tyran (Ty) Johnson, a proud Shreveport, Louisiana native who began his cheer journey at LCN Cheernastics. What started as a passion quickly became a purpose — not just to compete, but to pour into young athletes and help them see their worth and potential both on and off the mat.
You may recognize me from Season 2 of Netflix’s CHEER, where I cheered at Navarro College from 2020–2022 while earning my associate degree. I went on to cheer at Western Kentucky University and Morehead State University, one of the top programs in the nation. For three years, I had the honor of representing the United States as a member of the U.S. National Cheerleading Team, competing internationally in Croatia, Germany, and Canada. My all-star career includes stints at some of the most elite programs in the country — Cheer Athletics, California All Stars (SMOED & Revolvers), and Cheer Extreme (Code Black) — along with four summers as a USA staff member in California. I’ve also appeared on NBC’s Stumble, performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and been featured on Good Morning America twice.
Over the past 6–7 years, cheer has taken me all over the world, and now I’m ready to build something of my own. Tytanium Athletics is more than a gym — it’s a family. A place where athletes grow, get challenged, and become the best version of themselves. I can’t wait to share this journey with you.
